Privacy policy

Effective August 10, 2026.

Iron Nest Ops ("we", "the site") is an independent fan reference published at ironnest.hunt-games.com. This policy explains what happens to data when you visit.

The short version

The site is a set of static pages. There are no accounts, no logins, no comments and no newsletter. We do not ask you for personal information, and the tools on the site run entirely in your browser — anything you type into the ballistic calculator stays on your device and is never transmitted to us.

Information we collect

Information you give us

None, unless you choose to email us. If you do, we receive whatever you put in the message and keep it only as long as needed to reply.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider processes standard server and network request data — IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, timestamp — as an ordinary part of delivering the page to you and protecting the service from abuse. We do not use these logs to build profiles of individuals.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful and which are not. It sets cookies and reports aggregate usage — pages viewed, approximate region, device type, referring site. We have no interest in identifying individual visitors and do not attempt to. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking the script in your browser or an extension.

Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies for its own purposes. The analytics provider described above sets its own cookies; blocking them does not affect anything on this site. Nothing on the site depends on cookies to function.

Third parties

We link out to Steam, GOG, Nexus Mods and similar sites. Once you follow a link you are on their property and their privacy policies apply — we have no control over and no visibility into what they do. We do not sell, rent or share data with third parties, because we do not hold data worth sharing.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR in the EU/UK and the CCPA in California — you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to it. Because the site holds essentially none, most such requests are satisfied by explaining that there is nothing to return. Data retention and security

We do not maintain a database of visitors. Server logs are retained by the hosting provider under their own schedule. The site is served over HTTPS.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the effective date above changes with it. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
